Memorandum Of Association Of Samadhan Foundation

1. Name of the Society : The name of the society shall be SAMADHAN foundation

2. Registered Office : The registered office of the society shall remain in the National Capital Territory of Delhi, and at present it is at the following address: E-80, Shastri Nagar, Delhi-52

3. Area of Operation : All Over India

4. The Aims & Objects of the society are as follows:

4.1 - To establish, undertake rehabilitation of drug addicts/alcoholics/smokers.

4.2 - To give treatment to the drug addict/alcoholic/smokers/victim or rehabilitate, astray drug addict/victim.

4.3 -To hold and organize exhibitions ,functions, camps, educate the peoples about the menace of drugs, alcoholism, smoking.

4.4 To create awareness and educate people about the effects of alcoholic and abuse on the individual the family and the society at large and undertake identification treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts.

4.5 - To evolve culture-specific models for the prevention of alcoholism and substance and the treatment and rehabilitation of addicts.

4.6 - To provide for the whole range of community based services for the identification motivation, counseling, de-addiction, after care and rehabilitation of addicts.

4.7 - To promote collective initiatives and self-help endeavors among individuals and groups vulnerable to addiction or found at risk.

4.8 - To establish appropriate linkage between state intervention and voluntary efforts in the field of prohibition and substance abuse prevention.

4.9 - To increase community participation and public cooperation in the reduction of demand for dependence-producing substances.

4.10 - To improve cultural, educational and social condition of the people under take multidisciplinary programs.

4.11 - To work for the democracy, good governance, realization of human rights, international peace, justice and cooperation including NGOs cooperation and coordination programs.

4.12 - To establish, maintain and run community centers, barat ghar and other public utility services.

4.13 - To establish, maintain and run hospital, medical intuition, sanatorium, mobile dispensaries, after care clinic maternity homes and child welfare centers.

4.14 - To establish, support acquire, run and/or grant aid and other financial assistance to school college libraries, reading rooms, hospitals, boarding houses, laboratories and other institutions of like nature at any place in India, for use of students and the staff and also generally for development and/or advances of education and diffusion of knowledge amongst the public in general.

4.15 - To publish books monographs, periodicals, journals review pamphlets, souvenirs without any motive to earn profit what so ever.

4.16 - To provide help to the destitute the physically handicapped people, mentally retarded children, street children and distinction of caste, colour and creed.

4.17 - To establish health care facilities as charitable, dispensaries, laboratories and hospital in target areas.

4.18 - To establish libraries, meditation, yoga naturopathy, ayurvedic, homeopathic centers for elderly in target areas.

4.19 - To grant relief during natural calaminaties such as famine, earth quakes, flood fire pestilence and on such other occasions of calaminities of similar nature to give donation subscription on contribution to institution/establishment or person doing such relief work or person effected directly.

4.20 - To establish vocational Training Centres for women for improving their skills in the field of knitting, sewing, embroidery, painting, boutique, etc.

4.21 - To encourage the public to prevent the social evil such as Dahej Partha and Bal Vivah.

4.22 - To establish hospital, dispensaries, laboratories, rehabilitation and camps to treat the drug addict, HIV (AIDS)/victims.

4.23 - To establish libraries and open education system study centres in affiliation with institutions/universities for target rural and urban slum population.

4.24 - To establish and maintain hospital Nursing home, polytechnic, Engg., College, public school & college, dispensary, clinics, library, computer training centres & construct mandir, Dharamshala in any part of India for General Public.

4.25 - To establish, undertake, promote, propagate, encourage and manage cultivation of botanical and medicinal plants used in the manufacture of Ayurveds, Siddha, Unani & Homeopathy systems of medicine which is speedily shrinking day by day.

4.26 - To establish, undertake and activate medical camps, blood donation camps, eye operation camps, pulse polio drive, intensive immunization, population education including reproductive maternal and child health care.

4.27 - To detect spread of HIV infection and make appropriate strategy for prevention and control, other highly sensitive disease care and cure.

4.28 - To impart education to the poor, helpless and needy children/students and to provide medical, dispensaries in which medical facilities would be provided to the poor persons.

4.29 - To manage relief and assistance to the needy victims during natural calamities such as earthquake, floods, droughts, famines, fire riots and pestilence.

4.30 - To establish, undertake and provide relief and help to the aged, blind, lame, deaf, dumb, orphans, disable or persons incapable of earning their livelihood or any one or more of them and establish homes and institutions for the benefit of such persons.

4.31 - To establish, undertake bird and animal welfare program and manage shelter house for looking after the stray animals, ambulance services to animal in distress, birth control and immunization of stray dogs.

4.32 - To establish, undertake, promote and develop naturopathy, physiotherapy, yoga acupressure and acupuncture.

4.33 - To establish, undertake programs of urban development, slum communication development, garbage segregation and clean culverts, septic tanks and drains for better public health.

4.34 - To establish, undertake protection and promotion of cultural and natural heritage develop strategy for promotion of tourism by conservation of tangible and intangible heritage and thereby the employment potential and eradicating poverty.

4.35 - To mange and administer an orphanage, old age home, nursing home, hospital, library reading rooms, trust, school, college and other institution irrespective of cast creed or social status and take over absorb or amalgamate with any other society or trust or association in which the society may be interested.

4.36 - To conduct programs of risk analysis, risk management disaster management, prevention of terrorism of all forms and world security including halting the spread of nuclear weapons.

4.37 - To establish, undertake, develop and construct shooting ranges, playfields, indoor and outdoor Stadia/Facilities, Swimming Pools water sports infrastructure (such as jetty, boat houses etc) Winter sports infrastructure (such as skiing slope, ice-Hockey field etc.) skating rinks, velodromes, construction of sports hostels, and organize shooting competition.

4.38 - To distribute scholarship, books stipends, medals and other incentive to meritorious students of the underprivileged sections of the society and create sense of brotherhood, cooperation, mutual harmony, love and affection amongst the general public.

4.39 - To establish, undertake education, training and capacity building in remote sensing and satellite imagery technologies in the environment sector, use of remote sensing and GIS techniques for mapping of environmental impact of mining, impact assessment of various developmental projects and assessment of bio-geographic zones of the country.

4.40 - To establish, undertake, develop and promote horticulture through management, establish nutritional gardens in rural areas, distribute fruit plants and vegetables seeds in minikits, identify constraints in horticulture development, suggest remedial measures and provide consultancy services.

4.41 - To establish, undertake preservation and development of cultural heritage of the Himalayas, promotion and dissemination of Tribal/Folk art culture, preservation and development of Buddhist/Tibetan culture and art development maintenance of National Memorials, promotion and strengthening of regional and local museums and setting up of multipurpose cultural complexes.

4.42 - To establish, undertake intensive research, training and survey for increasing production and quality of agriculture, floriculture, horticulture sericulture, wormy culture aqua culture within limited resources of land, finance and geographical condition.

4.43 - To participate in all emerging issues whenever occurs on national and/ or international arena and to do all such other lawful acts, deeds and things as incidental and ,,,,, the attainment of the objects or any one of them.

All the incomes, earnings, movable or immovable properties of the society shall be solely utili9zed and applied towards the promotion f its aims and objects only as set forth in the memorandum of the society ad no profit thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present or the past members of the society or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or the past members.

No members of the society shall have any personal clams on any movable or immovable properties of the society or make any profits, whatsoever by virtue of this membership.
